Year 3 - Zebra Class
Welcome to Zebra Class!
Your class teacher is Mrs Newman and teaching assistants are Mrs Chongbang and Mrs Bartlett.
I hope you have had a lovely Christmas Holidays and Happy New Year! I cannot wait to show you all the exciting learning we have for this term. Our topic this term will be 'How do artefacts help us understand the lives of people in Iron Age Britain?'. We will use our knowledge from our previous History topic of 'The Stone Age' to compare changes to life in Britain.
This term we will be doing our first chapter book in reading! The book we will focus our reading lessons on is 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes.
Our P.E. days are Monday and Thursday. This terms PE will be dance and Tag Rugby. We will be outside on a Thursday, so please bring weather appropriate PE kit.
Our Forest school session will be every Tuesday.
Forest School kit: named carrier bag for muddy clothes and shoes, long sleeved top, comfortable trousers, boots/old trainers and a coat for wet or cold weather.
