Welcome to Koala Class. Mrs Peachey-Smith is the Class Teacher and Miss Jones And Miss Esson are the Class Teaching assistants.

Our Term 2 topic is Shimmer and Shine. We will look at all things Autumn with our books: 'Going on a pumpkin hunt' and 'Pumpkin Soup., where the children will have ago at making Pumpkin soup, like the animals do in the story. We will then move on to 'whatever next', where we explore space. We finish the term by learning about Diwali and Christmas. The children will be performing a Christmas concert at the end of term.   

          

 

Forest School

During Term 2 we will go to Forest School every other week on Monday.  Our Forest School days for Term 2 are:

Monday 13th November

Monday 27th November

Monday 11th December 

Your child will need to bring in their Forest School kit for these sessions. Please provide them with old clothes and some Wellington boots. If the weather is cold, please make sure your child has their coat.

P.E

Our P.E day is Tuesday. Please make sure your child comes to school with their P.E kit on their day. This should be in a named bag and should include shorts, a t-shirt and plimsolls/trainers. As the weather gets colder you might want to include some jogging bottoms.

 

Home Learning and Reading

Home learning is sent home every week on Fridays when children's reading books are also changed. Children are also encouraged to read every day at home and receive Dojo points when they do this.
