Year 3 - Jellyfish Class
Welcome to Jellyfish Class!
Your class teacher is Mrs Newman and your teaching assistants are Mrs Ali and Miss Thornton.
I hope you all had a lovely half term! I cannot wait for all the new learning we will be doing this term!
This term we will be doing a geography enquiry, our big question will be 'How and why has my local area changed?'. We will be answering this question through map work, field work, statistical representations and looking at different imagery.
In our Reading lessons we will be focussing on 'Voices in the Park' by Anthony Browne.
In Science, our topic for the term is 'Rocks'. We will be learning lots about different categories of rocks, as well as soil formation.
P.E. this term will be Netball and Gymnastics. Netball is outdoors on a Monday. Gymnastics will be indoors on a Thursday. Please ensure you bring the appropriate kit.
Forest school this term will be every other Thursday. Reminders will be posted on class dojo to let you know whether it is our classes week or not.
Forest School kit: named carrier bag for muddy clothes and shoes, long sleeved top, comfortable trousers, boots/old trainers and a coat for wet or cold weather.
