Year 3 - Kingfisher Class
Welcome to Kingfisher Class. Our teacher is Miss Haynes and our
Teaching Assistant is Mrs Llong.
I hope you all had a brilliant break and a happy new year! I cannot wait to begin working with you all and I am looking forward to the exciting term ahead of us in our new Kingfisher class.
This term will be focussed on our history topic of The Iron Age, basing our learning on how artefacts help us to understand how people lived during the Iron Age.
Our reading this term will be The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.
P.E. : This term we will be doing Dance indoors on a Monday. We will also be doing Tag Rugby outdoors on a Thursday, so we would recommend children continue to bring jogging bottoms and layers for changing.
Forest School: Forest school continues to be on a Wednesday morning this term. However, the two classes will be alternating which week they go. We will update you on class dojo which week each class will be doing. Children should continue to wear their forest school clothes into school and bring their uniform for changing into afterwards.
Forest School kit: long sleeved top, comfortable trousers, boots/old trainers and a coat for wet or cold weather.
