Welcome to Jellyfish Class! 

Your class teacher is Mrs Newman and your teaching assistants are Mrs Ali and Miss Thornton.

I hope you all had a lovely break! I cannot wait for all the new learning we will be doing this term!

This term we will be doing a History enquiry,  our big question will be 'What do the ancient Egyptians believe?'. We will be answering this question throughout the term and learning about who the Egyptians were and their life and religion. This will be continued in our art topic. We will be looking at hieroglyphics and making papyrus. 

In our Reading lessons we are continuing to read 'You're a bad man, Mr Gum' by Andy Stanton. 

In Science, our topic for the next two terms is 'Plants'. We will be starting the term planting sunflowers and learning all about the different parts of flowering plants. 

P.E. this term will be Cricket and outdoor adventure activities. Both lessons will be held outdoors so please make sure you have appropriate kit for April rain and hopefully some sunshine as we go into May. 

Forest school this term will be on Friday afternoons. I will post dojo reminders for when it is our week to go.

Forest School kit: named carrier bag for muddy clothes and shoes, long sleeved top, comfortable trousers, boots/old trainers and a coat for wet or cold weather.
