Science at Pilgrims’ Way is taught using the National Curriculum and the Kent Scheme. These provide a structure and a progression for our lessons from EYFS to Year 6. These documents also ensure that Science is taught consistently and broadly across the school. We teach Science weekly and, where possible, link to our class topics.

Through Science, we have developed a strong link with Christ Church University. We are lucky to have CCCU students teach at Pilgrims’ Way multiple times per year. This link ensures children are working on their practical science skills too.
